Effective Date: September 15, 2026
These Terms govern your use of true-atom.com and the analytical testing services provided by Clear Choice Labs Inc., doing business through True Atom (“True Atom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By placing an order, submitting a sample, or accessing a certificate of analysis (“COA”), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
- Our Services
True Atom provides research-use analytical testing, which may include purity, content, identity reference comparison, chromatograms, and verifiable COAs.
Our results describe only the specific sample received and the analytical methods performed. True Atom does not determine whether a sample is safe, clinically suitable, sterile, legal for a particular use, or approved by any regulatory authority.
Our services and reports are not intended for medical diagnosis, treatment, human or veterinary use, or product-release decisions requiring regulatory testing.
- Sample and Compound Acceptance
Submitting an order does not guarantee that a compound or sample will be accepted.
Testing depends on method availability, reference-material availability, instrument compatibility, sample condition, sample quantity, and safety considerations. We may reject or cancel testing that falls outside our capabilities or policies.
You represent that:
• You legally possess and are authorized to submit the sample
• The sample is accurately labeled to the best of your knowledge
• You have disclosed any known hazards or special handling requirements
• The sample does not contain an undisclosed controlled, infectious, explosive, radioactive, or prohibited material
• You will use the results only for lawful research or business purposes
Do not include patient information, medical records, or protected health information with a sample.
- Sample Acceptance and Turnaround
Sample instructions are emailed after checkout.
“Sample Acceptance” occurs after we receive the sample, match it to a paid order, receive the required information, and determine that it is suitable for the requested analysis.
Our advertised 24-hour turnaround begins after Sample Acceptance—not when the order is placed or the package is delivered.
Additional time may be required for insufficient samples, repeat preparation, reinjection, quality-control review, unexpected chromatographic behavior, equipment interruption, or missing customer information. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of a material delay.
- Analytical Limitations
Analytical testing has inherent uncertainty and variability. Results apply only to the portion of the submitted sample analyzed and may not represent another vial, batch, shipment, or product.
Purity generally describes the percentage of detected chromatographic signal attributed to the primary peak under the stated method. It does not establish that every impurity has been detected or identified.
Content results may be affected by sample preparation, moisture, counterions, excipients, degradation, solubility, reference materials, and measurement uncertainty.
Identity reference comparison evaluates whether selected chromatographic characteristics are consistent with a reference analyzed under the stated method. HPLC-PDA retention time and spectral comparison do not, by themselves, establish absolute molecular identity or molecular structure.
- COA Options
Private COA
A Private COA is stored in our database but hidden from public search. Access requires its unique verification key. You are responsible for protecting that key.
Public Verified COA
A Public Verified COA is searchable and linked to your verified company domain. By requesting this option, you authorize True Atom to display applicable company, sample, method, chromatogram, result, and verification information publicly.
You represent that you are authorized to associate the report with the identified company. We may refuse or remove public verification if authority cannot be confirmed or if we suspect misuse, impersonation, or inaccurate information.
- Proper Use of Reports
You may use an authentic True Atom report for legitimate research, quality-control, and business-verification purposes.
You may not:
• Alter or falsify a COA or analytical result
• Apply a report to a sample or batch that was not tested
• Remove material limitations or research-use statements
• Use a report to imply regulatory approval, safety, clinical suitability, or endorsement by True Atom
• Make false or misleading claims based on a report
True Atom may correct, replace, suspend, or revoke verification of a report containing an error or suspected misuse.
- Payment, Cancellation, and Refunds
Payment is required before testing unless different terms are approved in writing.
You may request cancellation before Sample Acceptance. After Sample Acceptance or the beginning of sample-specific work, the order is generally nonrefundable.
If we reject a sample before performing material analytical work, we may refund or credit the unperformed testing fee. Shipping, payment-processing, return-shipping, special-handling, and completed-work charges may remain nonrefundable where permitted by law.
An unexpected, inconclusive, lower-than-expected, or different result is not grounds for a refund. You are purchasing the performance and reporting of an analysis, not a guaranteed result.
- Sample Handling
Testing may consume or alter some or all of a sample. Do not submit irreplaceable material unless return arrangements have been approved in writing before shipment.
Residual samples may be stored, returned at the customer’s expense, or disposed of according to our procedures and applicable law. Applicable retention instructions may be included with the sample instructions.
- Website and Intellectual Property
True Atom retains all rights in its website, branding, report formats, analytical methods, database, software, and other proprietary materials.
You may not misuse verification keys, access private reports without authorization, scrape the COA database, interfere with website security, or use the True Atom name or logo to imply endorsement.
- Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
True Atom does not guarantee that every sample will be accepted, every test will produce a definitive result, or every impurity or component will be detected.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, True Atom and Clear Choice Labs Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from use of our website, services, or reports.
Our total liability arising from a particular testing order will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except where liability cannot legally be limited.
- Governing Law
These Terms are governed by California law. Before filing a legal action, both parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute through written notice.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, legal proceedings relating to these Terms or our services must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Orange County, California.
- Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. The Terms in effect when an order is placed generally govern that order.
